Where it all began ...

Like authors of many children’s books, I was inspired by my child to write, A Giraffe in the Forest. My daughter, Palmer, was playing with a stuffed giraffe and bear one day, and I thought to myself, “Well there is an unlikely friendship!” From there, the story came to life. A story of friendship. A story of exploration. A story of acceptance. A story of adventure.

Geoff and Banks are two characters whom I have grown to love. It has been fun seeing their stories evolve and take flight. Stick around to see where their next adventure might take them!
